This chart overlays Bitcoin's price on the US election calendar. Orange bands mark the year leading up to each midterm election (2018, 2022, 2026) and blue bands the year after, so you can compare how Bitcoin behaved in the same phase of the four-year US political cycle. Diamonds mark presidential election victories and circles mark inaugurations. Only two full midterm cycles exist in Bitcoin's history, so the pattern is anecdotal, not a statistical rule.
