About This Indicator

BTC ETF Flow measures the daily net dollar flow into or out of US spot Bitcoin ETFs (IBIT, FBTC, ARKB, and the rest of the cohort), a direct read on institutional/TradFi demand rather than an on-chain or exchange-order-book proxy. Positive net flow (net inflow) signals fresh institutional buying pressure (bullish); negative net flow (net outflow) signals institutional selling or redemptions (bearish). Note: the free data source only provides a rolling window of the most recent ~300 trading days, not full history back to the ETFs' 2024-01-11 launch — history accumulates day by day from whenever this chart started ingesting data, similar to the BTC DVOL chart elsewhere in this library.
