About This Indicator

Bitcoin Halving Cycle Countdown aligns every halving cycle by the same "days until halving" reference point — today's distance from the next projected halving — and rebases each cycle's price to 100 at that point. This shows what Bitcoin did next, from the same cycle position, in every prior halving cycle.

Current Value & Interpretation

The orange segment shows each cycle's price path into today's reference day; the green segment shows what happened from that same day through to the halving. The current cycle only has an orange segment, since its outcome is not yet known. The next halving date is a projection based on the average interval between confirmed halvings, not a confirmed date.
