About This Indicator
Inspired by CryptoQuant's "Bull-Bear Market Cycle Indicator" (a closed-source indicator with no published methodology), this chart is a disclosed proxy built entirely from signals already used elsewhere in this app: it reuses the Overheat Score's -100 to +100 composite of ten on-chain and technical signals, smooths it with a 30-day moving average, and classifies the result into five regimes. Overheated Bull and Extreme Bear trigger at the same +/-60 "extreme" thresholds already used by the Overheat Score chart. Early Bull is its own short-lived state: the first 90 days after the 30-day MA turns positive out of a Bear reading, as long as it stays below +40 — a stronger break, or the 90-day cap, graduates it to a full Bull reading. The 365-day MA of the same score is plotted as a slower-moving trend-context line.
